Their winning app helps you to find the location of your car using GPS linked to Google maps. Their vision for the app is that it can be used in many different scenarios such as locating your rental car.

David and Jenny developed the app themselves, initially using Python and then using MIT's famous app development kit "app inventor".

On show today was their fully working android version.

David and Jenny explain how they developed the app and how it works.

Second place was Emma Bowie with her project on the "Factors That Influence Choice Of Language For Junior Cert". The factors that contributed to her prize included an excellent presentation and a very good survey.
