Silver Medal for Natalya Colye at the Cairo World Cup

Our Olympian and modern pentathlete Natalya Coyle adds another silver medal to her collection. Natalya has followed her win at the Sarasota World Cup in Florida last month with another silver medal on Monday evening at the Cairo World Cup.

Nayalya and her team mate Arthur Lanigan-O’Keeffe started well by scoring 27 victories in fencing which placed them fifth place before they posted a swimming time of 1:57.70 moving them up to third overall. There was only one second between first and second with five seconds to third so they had a battle on their hands.

Natalya and Arthur came second in the ride with only two time faults, which enabled them to start the run/shoot combined event in first place.

Unfortunately however, the Mexican team's sprint finish pushed the pair back to second place and the silver medal.
