Two KH Past Pupils Nominitated for Irish Album of the Year 2016 Award

It's incredible first we have more past pupils than any other school in the country at the Rio Olympics and now our past pupils make us so proud by doing the same in music.

The shortlist for this year’s RTÉ Choice Music Prize, Irish Album of the Year 2016, in association with IMRO and IRMA, has been announced and features two KH past pupil albums, more than any other school.  We have featured these albums on our KHPPU pages over the last few months from Lisa Hannigan and Overhead, The Albatross.

The winning album will be announced at the RTÉ Choice Music Prize live event, held in Vicar Street, Dublin on Thursday 9th March 2017 and will be broadcast live on RTÉ 2FM in a special four hour extended programme from 7-11pm and on RTÉ2.

The nominations are as follows;
